Location Props & Costume Report

For my photo shoot for my magazine final piece I want to take pictures in the studio at college so that I can get the right lighting and style I want.  I thought that doing my photo shoot in a studio was better for the kind of photo I want to take as I’m doing to try and get some dance photos.  I would as like to try and take some photos in my dining room at home if the studio isn’t available as my house has some really nice wooden floor boards that I think could make the photo have more texture and interest.

I’m not planning on having any props as I think it will this will distract from the main figure I’m going to be taking photos of.  For the costumes I am thinking about having some of my dance clothes for the dance pictures, as it will show the figure of the model and the muscle tone.  For the front cover I’m just going to put my model in a dress or skirt with a pattern on; I’m not sure how I’m going to take the shots yet, so I don’t know if they will be close ups or long shots of the whole model figure but I do want a kind of pattern to make it more interesting to the eye instead of plain.  For the contents page I’m think of having pictures of musical instruments that could be in my style of magazine, and also to make a couple of dance poses that would catch the readers eyes.
